half is the rhythm section (snare, kick, toms); right half is hats
and cymbals — same hand-split as a real kit, also great for thumbs
on a phone in landscape.
Switch between sampled LinnDrum /
TR-808 kits (loaded on demand from a
public-domain catalog) and the always-available
synth kits.
Lay down a sick beat: hit Rec (or Space),
play your pattern, hit Rec again to lock the loop. It
plays back instantly. Hit Rec again while it's
playing to overdub more layers, or
Play (P) to stop and start.
