How do I flag a mine?

Right-click on a covered cell, or long-press on touch. The flag toggles between flagged, question-mark, and clear. Flags don't affect win/loss directly — they're a memory aid — but the cell can't be opened until the flag is removed.

Beginner (9×9, 10 mines), Intermediate (16×16, 40 mines), Expert (16×30, 99 mines), and Custom (any size and mine count). The board scales to fit the viewport.

It's a faithful re-implementation of the rules — same number-flood-fill behaviour, same chord (middle-click) logic, same first-click-is-safe guarantee. Visually it uses a modern UI rather than the Windows 95 chrome.

There's no auto-solver, but the chord action (clicking a number with as many flags around it as its count) clears all remaining unflagged neighbours — the standard Minesweeper speedrun trick.
